Regular certification
Regular certifications are valid for three years after you take the course and pass the exam. Your expiration date is printed on your certification card. If your certification is expiring, you will need to recertify before the next construction season according to the dates in the table below. You will receive a brochure listing available courses in Fall 2009. Note that most courses will have already been offered by certification deadline, so plan ahead.
| Card Says | Must Recertify By* |
| May, 2007 | June 1, 2007 |
| May, 2008 | June 1, 2008 |
| May, 2009 | June 1, 2009 |
| May, 2010 | June 1, 2010 |
| May, 2011 | June 1, 2011 |
| May, 2012 | June 1, 2012 |
| May, 2013 | June 1, 2013 |
*If you do not recertify by this date, you will need to retake the full certification class.
Provisional certification
Provisional certifications earned this summer are valid through May 31. You must then register for a regular course if you wish to continue certification. Note that most courses will have already been offered by May 31, so plan ahead.
