Please Note You may earn provisional certification in a subject only once during a four-year period. Provisional certification is valid through May 31, 2010, when the regular course season is complete. No registration substitutions are allowed. |
Provisional certification is available for both Construction Installer and Construction Site Management for the 2009 construction season through September 30, 2009.
How to Earn Provisional Certification
The steps for earning provisional certification are as follows:
Fees
The registration fees for provisional certification are:
Construction Installer: $105
Construction Site Management: $105
There is a $25 cancellation fee which will be deducted from your refund should you decide not to take the test.
No registration substitutions are allowed for provisional testing. Original registrations are required in the name of each individual who is applying for provisional certification.
Locations
Testing will be done at the Bioproducts and Biosystems Department on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus on a daily basis (Monday through Friday) EXCEPT for May 25, July 3, and September 7. Testing can begin as early as 8:00 AM; the last starting time is 2:00 PM. Please call to make an appointment when you are ready to take the exam.

Provisional testing is a cooperative effort of the University of Minnesota Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering and the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
