Do you have 35 or more people who need training? If so, we can bring the training to you. We have a limited number of dates available this winter and spring. Please contact us for additional information.

Registration Information

Registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Class sizes are limited, so early registration is encouraged to guarantee a place. Registrations will not be processed without payment. You may pay by check, credit card, or governmental purchase order. You can check http://www.erosion.umn.edu/to see if seats are still available.

Workshop Schedule

All workshops run from 8:00 to 4:30 p.m. each day.

Lunch is on your own.

Snacks and beverages will be available during both a morning and afternoon break.

Materials

Your workshop fee includes all reference materials. Please bring notepaper, pencils, and a highlighter. You may also want to bring a calculator.

Exam

All workshops include a written exam. The exam is mostly multiple choice questions, and will start about 3:30 p.m. for the Inspector/Installer course, and about 2:30 p.m. for the Site Management course and the Design course.

Late Registrations

Register by the deadline (one week in advance) to get a $25 discount and to guarantee your place at the workshop. It also helps us to plan for an adequate amount of course materials and refreshments.

Cancellations

Cancellations will be accepted up to seven calendar days prior to the course with a $25 Cancellation Fee. If you cancel after that time, or if you fail to appear at the course, you will forfeit your entire registration fee. Failure to appear at the course due to inclement weather will also follow this policy. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via mail or fax.

No refunds will be provided in the event that a class is canceled due to inclement weather.

Substitutions

You may substitute another person’s registration for your own; we request notification no less than two working days before the course.
